Blocked nose remedies

Steam & saline — gentle and hydrating, but you need a sink, a bowl or a spray, and the effect is short.

Menthol nasal stick — a wick you sniff for an instant cold, open hit. Strong and fast, but it ends the moment you cap the tube.

Balms & ointments — rubbed on the chest, greasy on the skin, slow to release.

Herbal oil roller — a rollerball you roll on temples, neck, chest and wrists. The aroma keeps lifting off warm skin for hours, and the oil gives a cooling feel where it sits.

A stick gives the sharpest hit but stops when you cap it. A roller gives a slightly softer opening that stays with you through a flight, a desk day or a long night — without anything greasy on your chest.
